Mealworms are approximately 20-30mm long.
Mealworms are often selected for their high levels of important vitamins, fats and proteins and form part of many reptiles’ balanced diet.
Easy to care for and extremely easy for your reptile to eat – just place them in a suitable feeding dish!
Mealworms are also popular in bird feeders for wild birds.
As with all live food it is essential they are kept healthy. Packed in bran, empty the Mealworms into a smooth-sided container. No lid required as they can’t climb! Ensure they are kept at a regular temperature of 40-45 F (8-12 C). Place a slice of potato or carrot in the container to provide moisture.
